Prepare images that hold up.

Source-size recommendations are quality targets, not upload restrictions. Each section page lists its own exceptions.

Export for the slot

  1. Full-width desktop hero: 16:9, at least 2560 × 1440 px; prefer 3840 × 2160 on large displays. Full-screen mobile: 9:16, 1440 × 2560.
  2. Product and outfit portraits: 4:5, 2000 × 2500. Keep alternate and hover views at the same scale.
  3. Menu images and category tiles: 4:5, 1600 × 2000. Menus may crop much wider on desktop.
  4. Newsletter: 4:5, 1600 × 2000. Review portraits: square, 400 × 400. Community: 4:5, 1200 × 1500.
  5. Logo: transparent PNG at least 480 px wide. Custom icons: transparent square PNG at least 128 × 128.
  6. Comparison pairs, mosaics, blog cards and collection directories have different ratios: check their reference pages.

Compose and compress

Use sRGB JPEG or WebP for photos, PNG for transparent logos/icons. Avoid animated GIF campaigns. Aim for delivered desktop images below about 600 KB and mobile below 300 KB where detail permits; these are working targets, not platform limits.

Keep at least 10% breathing room around subjects. Reserve quiet space for text and the transparent header. More pixels cannot correct a poor crop or blurred original. Upscaling cannot prove new product detail.

Set a focal point where supported, then inspect the real layout. Some sections use fixed or coordinate-based positioning. Do not bake headings, prices or buttons into photos.

Keep product truth consistent

Show the actual item, variant color and accessories. Keep shape, fasteners and material consistent between views. Before / after should change only the intended property.

With generated media, compare seams, buttons, logos, dial markings and proportions against the source product. Keep accurate standalone images as well as model looks. Only publish media you have rights to use.

One video for both screens

The video sections have no independent mobile-video picker. Compose one film for desktop and the central mobile crop, or use the available still-image fields.

A quiet loop can be 6–10 seconds at 1920 × 1080, aiming below 8 MB, preferably below 4 MB for mobile-heavy traffic. For a deliberately started film, 15–30 seconds and below 20 MB are useful targets. Check each section’s poster behavior.

Check pause controls and reduced motion. Keep essential information in text; provide captions or an equivalent transcript for meaningful spoken content. External players can add requests and privacy considerations.

Inspect the selected result

  1. Inspect originals at 100% for blur, artifacts and incorrect product details.
  2. Preview at 375 px, tablet, 1440 px and wide desktop.
  3. Reposition hotspots after changing images; test touch and keyboard.
  4. Write useful alt text for informative images; avoid repeating nearby text for decoration.
